  Life After Death?

The question that everyone asks themselves at least one time in there life is what happens to you after death. Many religions have a lot of different takes on this idea of life after death. The religions that I believe have some of the more interesting takes on the idea of afterlife are Christianity, Buddhism, and the Egyptian faith.

The first theory that I will be starting with is the Christian belief that the believers will go to heaven with freedom from suffering and sin. And the non-believers will be sent to hell where there is eternal punishment for your physical and spiritual body. There are other lesser agreed upon theory’s within the Christian community. One of these are the theory of rapture in which god has made a day at the end of age where he will judge the world on there righteousness. Where the bodies of the dead will be raised from there slumber and either be granted eternal bliss beside god or to suffer eternal damnation and death in hell.

                     Tuesdays with Morrie

Dying is not as bad as people have to make for themselves it shows you a different perspective on the world and the culture we live in Morrie proves this in the novel “Tuesdays with Morrie”. In this novel Morrie shows that he can help people learn about some of life’s most important lessons and how today society is changing in some bad ways. One thing he says to shows this is that “Dying is the only thing to be sad over .Living unhappily is something else…Why [is that] for one thing the culture we have does not make people feel happy about themselves. We’re teaching [people] the wrong things.” This is a good thing to think about how society is teaching us the wrong things like how we should look and act. One example of this is how advertising is used in a way that if you do not use or own a certain product you will be inferior and not as perfect then the people that do own it. This is one thing I see everywhere in our culture but mostly in girls trying to stay with the lasted trends and the constant never-ending race to look perfect. Another thing I see a lot of in society today is commercialism. An example of commercialism in today’s culture that I see most often is with products from Apple and Black Berry. The reason I see these in abundance is because when people own one of these products they think that if they do not have the most recent version of there device they are not as cool. These are just a few example of how society has been teaching people the wrong things and I think is a point that Morrie thought was important to understand.

                     Empty Hourglass

Today is the day I die well that’s what the doctor said and ya I know it’s a good sentence to wake up to. And over the past year I have gone from an upbeat young teen to an empty withering husk. During this year I have tried to do things to change my life and other people’s life for the best. When I first learned that I was going to die I decided that I would do the two things I have wanted to do my whole life but have otherwise to busy with school and work to do them. The first of these things would be to travel to Venice, Italy and try there different types of foods and experience there different type of culture. The second things I would do before I died would be to go skydiving due to my overwhelming fear of falling or heights. I would think it would be good to conquer some of my fears before my hourglass empties. But due to my condition I did these things early on in the year. During the rest of my life I have decided to try and help out at least a little bit in my community at some charity trying to help the people in one of those disasters that seem to happen every 6 months. This in all truth was just something to try and pull myself out of my own self-pity with other people’s misfortune. After realizing that this was not having the most positive effects. I decided to start visiting my family and friends that I did not get to see very often. Since all of this had been going on for about 7 months I started to get more and more bedridden. This is when I noticed I may have to spend the rest of my life in this room. So I asked my parents to get me a better bed and a couple of DVD’s which consisted of every season of doctor who and Torchwood. And this is where I am now wither away the clock of my life slowly clicking away and you know what I’m ready to die it had to happen eventually mine just ends sooner that other peoples.

Flight to vegas

I was flying up for about 1000 feet before I started to level out it was a very nice day out the smell of wasted money in the air.

That's when i saw it Las Vegas starting to descend faster and faster then SPLAT!

Coroner report he was insane and wanted to fly poor guy.

In his dark bedroom lay my childhood journal. I brought it to the roof sat down and read

"When I grow up I'll be a Policeman, with a car, handcuffs and a big gun.

I heard the emotionless groans of the first incoming zombies. I raised my rifle and shot

"One out of four ain't bad,"

Captain Van Camp
Commander
HMS Princess Margret

O Captain, My Captain:

Dear Captain I have been living on this earth for 16 years with a kind and loving family. I am also an employee at McDonalds and if you do not allow me to live I can not tell them the special ingredient for fat free food saving thousands of people. I also have a big collection of Justin Bieber memorabilia worth thousands of dollars that if not taken care of will be destroyed and will never been see again. This is an especially bad thing because when they report this on the news a million girls will cry at once creating a giant earthquake destroying the world .I have also created a will that if not signed a lot of rare and expensive valuables will never be given away I would also gladly put you on it.

Another reason I think you should let we live is for the plans I have for the future. One of these plans includes creating a time machine. This time machine will allow me to travel back to this submarine and save us all winning all of us tons of money for being the very first time traveler. I am also creating a subliminal message to be placed in every single TV Show to get rid of the LIKE disease. These are the reasons I plea for you to let me live

Sincerely,

Luke Richards
